This policy covers SellMyCarLancaster.com, run by an individual local car buyer in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania ("I," "me"). It explains what I collect when you ask for an offer on your car and what I do with it.

What I collect

• Car details you enter: year, make, model, mileage, condition, what needs work, title status, asking price, other offers, and any notes.
• Files you upload: a photo of your car and a repair estimate, if you choose to add them.
• Contact details: first name, cell phone number, ZIP code, and email if you give one.
• Basic technical data: the website host may log things like your IP address and browser type to keep the site running and secure.

How I use it

• To review your car and put together an offer.
• To call, text, or email you about your car and that offer.
• To complete a sale and title transfer if we agree on one.
• To keep records the law requires for vehicle purchases.

I don't sell your information, and I don't use it to market anything unrelated to your car.

Texts and calls

When you submit the form, you agree that I may call or text you at the number you entered about the car you described. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text to stop getting them, or ask me to stop calling at any time. Submitting the form doesn't obligate you to sell.

Who else sees it

The site is hosted by Netlify, which receives and stores form submissions and uploaded files on my behalf. Submissions are also sent to my business email. Google receives the ad-measurement data described below. I may share information with a notary, tag service, or PennDOT when it's needed to transfer a title, or when the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses Google Ads conversion tracking. When you visit from a Google ad, Google may set a cookie so it can tell me whether an ad led to a form being submitted. The details you type into the form are not sent to Google. You can control ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com, and you can block cookies in your browser settings.

How long I keep it

I keep your information only as long as I need it to respond to you, complete a sale, or meet legal record-keeping rules. You can ask me to delete it at any time, and I will unless I'm required to keep it.

Your choices

To see, correct, or delete your information, reply to any text or call from me, or send a request through the form on this site and write "privacy request" in the notes. I'll respond within a few days.

Children

This site is for adults selling a vehicle they own. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
